Welcome to The University of Utah Master of Science in International Affairs and Global Enterprise (MIAGE) website!
MIAGE was approved by the Utah State Board of Regents in 2007 as a response to a growing need for more globally s
ensitive graduates who show a deeper and more sophisticated appreciation of the international issues confronting business today.
Administered by the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, MIAGE is targeted toward students who desire to complement the knowledge obtained through their undergraduate studies with a deeper understanding of global business and the social, legal, political, cultural, and economic context within which it occurs.
The MIAGE curriculum combines knowledge of general international business studies and international law with knowledge about the socio-cultural and political-economic context within which global business occurs. It is anticipated students will gain the skills and knowledge necessary to work and operate in a world where boundaries and datelines are no longer barriers to business, and where an education in international affairs enhances opportunities and experiences.
MIAGE is a 36 semester hour degree and full time students can complete the program in about 18 months. Part time students can take up to four years to complete the degree.
